Saying Goodbye; Saying Hello

Lately Nick and i have really been talking about this. Goodbye to Family and Friends, Nicks car, Bailey, and US culture and comforts. Goodbye cell phone number we have had for 5 years (which i know doesn't sound like much, but we have stayed true to that number through out all our moves and continue to represent No Co (Northern Colorado) ), our favorite restaurants, shops, etc. In some ways, the list is endless.

Hello new friends, new car, new adventures, favorite restaurants, and memories. Hello new rules of the road, culture, language, and habits. Hello to a lot of things we have no idea exist.. YET.


Today I woke up feeling like the night before the first day of school. A feeling of excitement, and nervousness mixed and then times 10.

Info recap we learned today:
-The base is HUGE. We knew it was huge, but it is like really huge. The base has a movie theater, German bakery, HUGE shopping area, Chilis, Johnny Rockets, Macaroni Grill, Subway, Taco Bell, Harley Davidson store...

- We now have a PO box. Sending us mail through our PO box is going to be the cheapest way to go. We will get this info to everyone:)
