We made it to San Angelo and are slowly settling in. We are spending our days exploring the city and finding our new "usual" restaurants, parks, entertainment, shopping, hair salons and all that good stuff. ( I would be lying if I didn't say we are trying to avoid hanging out in the TLF , but that is another blog post)
Although we feel like nomads at times, we really do enjoy exploring new cities, and embracing and discovering what each city is all about. Each city has a "feel" to it, its own quirks, beauties, frustrations, and strengths and we know San Angelo will fill our minds with stories to tell for quite a while.
Do we like it here? Well let's just say if we were to list where we hope to retire, San Angelo would be bringing in the rear. But we are confident that all things happen for a reason and we feel blessed by this great opportunity for Nick, his career, and the impact on the overall picture of our life; we recognize that this is just one chapter. We remind ourselves to find the beauty that lies with in. To stay true and remember what is really important in life.
We found out today that we will be receiving one of the beautiful base homes here which is a major answer to prayer. We'll share pics and details later.
