It is neat how they break up the homes, because your home (which may or may not be a duplex) is a circle around a big park and basketball court. So you share the park area with about 20 other families. The play ground is about 20 steps from our back porch. The boys are SOOO excited! We visited our home today (we don't have the keys yet) and met our new neighbors. One of their sons is 5 days older than Landon and the dad is in the same training Nick is going through. He was able to give Nick the low down on how everything happened, and we got good info on school for Landon and all that good stuff.
The neighborhood, is soo different than any other neighborhood. Come 5 o'clock all you see is kids EVERYWHERE just playing freely on the streets, grass, basketball courts. There is 24 hour security, and just a really comfortable friendly feel.
Here is our home! Like I said, TOTALLY different from our florida base home.
